How to register and create
a new Maktoob email?
- Go to
maktoob.com or Maktoob mail
page.
- Click on
register now
- Fill in all information required
correctly
- Click the check box beside create
an email with the same username
@maktoob.com.
- Fill in the number from the capture
image in the box above it.
- Click the approval checkbox below
the terms of service agreement after
reading and approving it
- Click proceed.

Remember me
- If you chose to be remembered,
you will always be remembered for
two weeks every time you enter maktoob,
this option is recommended only
if you’re using your personal pc.

Can’t
login?
- Check CAPS LOCK button on your
keyboard. Password is case sensitive
and you should make sure you’re
using the correct letters.
- If you’re using an Arabic username
and/or password, check the language
used while typing them.
- Check the spelling.
- If you type the username and/or
password for 3 times, you have to
retype them correctly and fill in
the number from the capture image
in the related textbox.
- If you forgot your password, click
on
forgot password link.

Forgot
your password?
- Click on
forgot password link.
- Fill in the required information
correctly; otherwise you won’t be
able to get a new password.
- When you insert correct information,
a new page will open asking for
your password hint, once you filled
correctly, you’ll receive a page
to enter a new password.
- If you did not provide a password
hint during registration, an email
containing a link to change your
password will be sent to your alternative
email. Go to your alternate email
once it was sent, click on that
link and enter your new password.
- Please not that this link will
be valid for 24 hours only.
- If you didn’t find it in your
inbox, the letter may have been
delivered to your junk mail or spam
folder.

How
do I create a strong password?
- A strong password is one that's
difficult for others to determine
by guessing or by using automated
programs, it is an important first
step in protecting your personal
information. A strong password must:
- Be contained of 6 characters minimum,
using three of characters type:
- Uppercase letters (A, B, C).
Lowercase letters (a, b, c).
Numerals (1, 2, 3).
That aren't a common word or name,
or a close variation on a common
word or name.
- Your password can't contain:
- Spaces or non-English characters
or Special characters.
The portion of your e-mail address
before the @ symbol.
Your question or secret answer.
- Notes:
Passwords are case sensitive (Capable
of distinguishing between uppercase
[capital] and lowercase [small]
letters. For example, A is different
from a. If information is case sensitive,
it must be typed with the required
capitalization.) .
To help secure your personal information,
don't write down your password,
or share it with anyone else.
Maktoob will never ask you for your
password in an e-mail message. Be
cautious of unsolicited e-mail messages
that appear to be from Maktoob or
Customer Support and provide a link
for you to sign in to your account.
Someone may be impersonating Maktoob
to get your password.
If you have more than one e-mail
account, use a different password
for each account.

Why
do I have to match number in a picture?
You must type the numbers you see
in a picture to confirm that a person,
rather than an automated program,
is trying to access the page. This
requirement helps prevent automated
programs from misusing Maktoob service.
In some instances you might mistakenly
type an incorrect number. When this
happens you will be asked to type
a new set of numbers. |
